MEDICAL COORDINATOR

In a Catholic Diocese, the Medical Coordinator (sometimes called a Diocesan Health Coordinator) serves as the primary bridge between the Church’s mission of healing and the technical management of healthcare. The role generally falls into two distinct categories depending on the diocese's needs: Institutional Coordination (managing hospitals and clinics) and Clergy Care (overseeing the health of priests and religious staff).

The Office is currently held by Rev. Fr. Bonface Mmbwanga
